Series I: Yearbooks. This series contains Chapter AI yearbooks, 1952-1988, which list officers, members of committees, and the monthly programs of Chapter AI. Resident and non-resident members are also listed with their addresses. Series II: Convention Proceedings. This series contains records of P.E.O. North Dakota annual conventions, 1951-1958 and records of the Supreme Chapter biennial conventions, 1951-1955. The proceedings of conventions contain minutes of the meetings, financial records, and information about convention activities. Series III: Scrapbooks. This series contains four scrapbooks of newspaper clippings, photographs, and other types of memorabilia that highlight Chapter AI's fundraisers and events, activities of its members and their families, and information about those individuals awarded PEO scholarships and loans.

P.E.O. Sisterhood was founded January 21, 1869 at Iowa Wesleyan University, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa. Seven women who attended the University met and organized P.E.O. as a philanthropic educational society. Today, the organization has numerous chapters throughout the United States. The local Chapter AI was organized April 22, 1952 by Lou Reading Gardner.
